I'm Adora.

I'm here to promote the sales of the girls guide cookies. I will be taking orders until next week. You do not need to make any payment if you are interested until about 2 months later, when the cookies are brought into bpghs.

I hope you can purchase some tins of cookies as they are...

1) delicious (I bought them every year since I was in pri 1)

2) the cookie tin has a new design with the theme: YOG

3) making you have a chance to raise funds for the girls guide.

Here's some information I got from the girls guide website:

For the 6th to 10th tin sold on a per person basis, the commission will be 50 cents per tin. For the 11th tin onwards, the commission will be $1.00 per tin. In other words, the more you and your girls sell the more you will earn for your unit! Please note that commissions will be paid out to a company only when a minimum of $10.00 is earned in aggregate for administrative reasons.

The three flavours of Chocolate Cream, Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Crunch will each retail for $10, inclusive of GST. This is in response to feedback to facilitate collection of monies. The new Chocolate Crunch flavour will have 12 packets of cookies wrapped in foil, with each packet holding two cookies. The former macadamia nut flavour is no longer available as the manufacturer is not able to get a reliable supplier of the ingredients for the flavour.

The new set of 3 tin designs showcase the creative abilities of our Guides and Brownies as expressed in our recent cookie tin design competition. The new designs have been jointly created with Draftfcb Singapore Pte Ltd, a marketing communications agency. The new tins come in attractive and eye-catching colours. The tins communicate the values of, Friendship, Excellence and Respect in conjunction with the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympics in 2010, values which Girl Guides actively promotes. The tins also celebrate the 100 years of Girl Guiding.

It was right after a thunderstorm on June 26, 2009, that Mammatus clouds appeared on the sky over New York City. Rolando Rivera and Felicita Diaz-Rivera were enjoying the light and the clouds through the window of their apartment near Amsterdam Avenue and 101st Street. These two felt like the clouds looked like Michael Jackson looking down from the sky. Jackson died the day before, on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The two took a picture and sent it to Fox 5 News. So many of Michael Jackson's fans were grieving his unexpected death. The view of the cloud right after his death had a meaning to them.

Yoz,01-tedx!!We had a tiring day 2day,rite?Sports carnival,many of us were whacked on our ankles for playin floorball,"Ouch!!"Rmb to rub some oilment if u r bruised,kae?;)
For those wif blisters,do something bout it b4 it bursts!serious!
Our PE 'cher(4gt name:P)oni let us played floorball 4 1 lesson,and half the class neva played b4,but 2dae,our performance was SPLENDID!Woootz~I appreciate our efforts,~yea~
I noe,we did'nt came in 1st or 2nd,it does'nt matters,rite?As long as we enjoyed ourselves:D
CheerUp,dun b too sad bout it,kae;D
I believe we can do better nex time round,if we continue to stay as united as 1,wootz~

Here for an exciting Report on today's match of Floorball!!!
101, Girls team one , two and Boys team 1, 2 with their
HOT Red House shirts and brandishing their (hockey?) sticks
went up against other classes of BPGH...

Boys Team One, Went up against 105 in the 1st match.
Keeper, Mark Sim.
The ball started rolling in favour of 101, and the boys played wildly.
Minutes passed before 101 Scored the 1st goal.
Then the ball started rolling again.
Then game dragged on, 101 victory was ensured.
10 minutes later, Team one went up against 06.
1st score by 101 yet again.
Minutes later, 106 scored.
As fouled on the match, Jamien, ME, took a free shot.
Even though the goal post was closely guarded, he Scored.
Odds was against him, the ball even though went in the post,
the referee was not looking that time.
So the ball was not counted, which resulted in a penalty shootout
as the game dragged on with the score of 1-1.
Penalty shootout taken by Ryan and Mark, 101 victory was ensured.
Break for an hour before coming up with 102 team 1.
The formidable team of 01 won with a score of 1-0
Another break again and 01 came up with 103 Boys team 2.
1st goal by 03.2nd 01.
3rd is scored yet again by 03.
Till a penalty is given to 01 for a foul and Ryan takes it.
he misses but Jamien from the side served the ball in the goal posts, In between the keeper's legs and tied the match.
Penalty Shootout ensued.
It was Aggressive, But 03 finally clinched it.
Well, that's for Boys team 1 .
The rest i do not really know. Maybe someone come up and post?
All in all, 01's, CONQUERED!!!

Today is a very significant day for our poor Jervis!!
Wa kaka, so i shall recap today for our NCC guy.
Today, is the day we have to show ~~off~~ our Drama Skit to
Class 103 .
1stly, is Jia Jun's Group !!*applause!!*
2ndly, Is Zhou Zhi's Group!! *applause!!*
3rdly, is a group from 103!! *applause!!*

Right after all that commotion, We(101) went over to 103 classroom to look at their skits.
They got chairs laid out nicely... So thoughtful.
Viewed two of their skits, then went back to 101.

As told last friday, by homec teacher , mdm royhayati. She Said,"During assembly, we, teacher talked about 101 , and all agreed that 101,2009 standards were worse that the previous years due to our homework qualities . she also added that this year best class is 103.

But, main point is not who is better or who is not. As 101 , we must not uphold the name of 101. coz we are selected to be 1 . We are the best, we must be better than the others. For the upcoming tests, please work extra hard as we WILL prove all the teachers, classes and people who have looked down on us!
